“Around 18 years ago I set out to re record some songs that had grown through the years and needed a fresh coat of paint. That group of songs became the album ‘Evolved’. In that same spirit I’ve brought some more of my opus up to date with this new collection ‘Revolved’. It’s volume two I guess. I’ve made these recordings because as the years go by and you play the songs hundreds of times live you inhabit them in better ways. They’ve matured, move differently, and its sometimes hard to recognise them from their genesis. They’re stronger, better turned out and punch harder and they’re ready for a new day.” - MJ
