Martyn Joseph is a performer like no other: Shades of Springsteen, John Mayer, Bruce Cockburn and Dave Matthews there may be - but he stands in his own right, built on a reputation for giving what thousands have described as the best live music experience of their lives delivering his "songs of lyrical intelligence" according to BBC Radio 2's Bob Harris.

Cutting grass

Love the smell of freshly movn grass. Reminds me of endless summers as a boy when my only dream was to become the next Jack Nicklaus, and i would spend every waking hour hitting golf balls either on the range or playing with friends.

Cut our small patch today with headphones on and discovered that a flymo can make a serious dancing partner. Pressure really on to get stuff done before i leave in just over a week for Canada. Its amazing the things you need to get done when you are going away for two months. We are now in the final stages of finishing of the MST CD, and its coming together well. Stewart ( Henderson) sent a great version of himself reciting a poem called `Housing Benefits` this week. The team in the office are putting together the summer issue of the Passport Qur and it has a heavy focus on the MST. Oh yeh, looks like i will be doing those few dates with Chris De Burgh in November. So enjoy the sun and dance with your flymo if you get the chance! Shall be in touch in a few days. M
