Martyn Joseph is a performer like no other: Shades of Springsteen, John Mayer, Bruce Cockburn and Dave Matthews there may be - but he stands in his own right, built on a reputation for giving what thousands have described as the best live music experience of their lives delivering his "songs of lyrical intelligence" according to BBC Radio 2's Bob Harris.

Billy Bragg Cardiff Devils

Today I’ve been writing a review of Billy Bragg`s new album for a magazine I occasionally contribute too. A fine piece of work it is too, been trying to get him to Greenbelt this year

Would have been mixing some stuff too but the Mac in the studio went down and has had to go back for some TLC. Slightly behind schedule with it all and, with no rest bite in the schedule, it’s going to be tight to get it all done ready for the cut in a few weeks. Not really the biggest problem on our planet though is it. These things have a way of working themselves out, whilst the things that really matter don’t seem to. Have been asked to sing at a dinner for The Cardiff Devils Ice Hockey team in April, which I’m happy to do. I have missed the excitement of the games this year. The team hit all sorts of problems at the end of last season, for more details go to Exeter tomorrow. We are recording the next two shows for a possible live album of the show so make a lot of noise if you are going. M
